We're a network of missional communities that gathers together on Sundays. Our church is comprised of individuals with diverse backgrounds, careers, life stages, hometowns, and stories. So what enables us to experience unity in the midst of diversity? Our shared values:

Gospel Clarity: We cherish the message of Jesus’s life, death, and resurrection and the hope it provides for the renewal of the whole world. Therefore, we weave the gospel into every decision, demand, doctrine, and delight (Romans 1:16; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4).

Biblical Fidelity: We cherish Holy Scripture. The Bible oversees every facet of our worship of God and service to one another as well as the surrounding community. Therefore, as a church, we perpetually examine the Bible’s teaching in order to reform and refine ourselves and our strategies (Psalm 19:7-14; 1 Timothy 3:16).

Humble Community: We cherish the process of becoming a humble community of Christ followers. Therefore, we seek to honor God as God in all our endeavors, relate to one another in honest, edifying ways, and measure greatness in terms of sacrificial service to Jesus, one another, and the world (Philippians 2:5-11; 1 Peter 5:5-11).

Missional Strategy: We cherish the role Jesus gives us to play in God’s grand redemptive story. We believe every follower of Christ is called to serve Jesus by making disciples. Therefore, we encourage and equip one another to do so in the relational cross-sections of day-to-day life (Matthew 28:16-20; Acts 17:16-34).

Sacrificial Generosity: We cherish the opportunity we have to leverage our time, talent, and treasure towards caring for the urgent physical and spiritual needs of our neighbors both near and far. Therefore, we seek to glorify God’s grace by giving generously towards that which advances and accentuates the priorities of the kingdom of God (Luke 10:25-37; 2 Corinthians 8:1-15).

Cultural Integrity: We cherish the process of becoming a distinct community within Seattle for the sake of Seattle. We desire to contribute to the overall welfare of this great city by expressing and embodying the ethics of God’s kingdom. Therefore, we encourage Christian engagement with culture shaping avenues such as the arts, business, government, and the academy with integrity, authenticity, faithfulness, and excellence (Matthew 5:13-16; Colossians 3:23).

Global Mentality: We cherish God’s gospel as good news for the whole world. The message of being reconciled to God through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ is too powerful and too precious to remain among one group of people. Therefore, we are compelled by love to take the gospel to all people everywhere (Psalm 67; 2 Corinthians 5:11-21).
