Jesus loves kids, and so do we!

This is reflected in the ways we incorporate children into the life of the church, and find ways to come alongside parents to help kids learn and enjoy the beauty of God and his majestic works.

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.
— Deuteronomy 6:6-7
On the glorious splendor of your majesty, and on your wondrous works, I will meditate.
— Psalm 145:5

Though we encourage families to worship together, we provide a Christ-centered Kids Ministry for children 2-months-old up to 5th grade during Sunday worship gatherings.

Kids Ministry rooms are grouped by age to ensure children have fun, feel safe and are engaged with age-appropriate activities and teaching.  We use the Gospel Project curriculum to creatively engage preschool through elementary-aged children and to empower parents with additional take-home resources.

In our Fremont and West Seattle Expressions, K-5 students worship with their guardians at the beginning of the worship gatherings and then participating children are dismissed to go with their teachers to continue worship in their Kids Ministry classes for the remainder of the time.

In the North Seattle Expression, children (babies-elementary) can be checked into the Kids Ministry area from the beginning of the gathering.

Other Kids Ministry Resources and Discipleship Opportunities:

The Gospel & Parenting: We know the struggle can be real, and we desire to help foster an authentic and edifying support network for all parents and caregivers. Quarterly we provide a gathering for parents (& those interested in parenting) aimed at equipping, encouraging and empowering gospel-led parenting and discipleship.

Imagine! Kids Creative Arts Camp: Several years ago we identified a need for low-cost children's camps in the summer, particularly for the diverse and lower-income families around each expression. In response, we began a fun, high-energy, low-cost ($10/child registration fee) 3-day summer camp staffed by Hallows volunteers. The camp has grown since the first year serving a greater Seattle population. (In addition, all registration fees are collected by The Hallows Church then donated to local schools and non-profits.)
